Dish Network ViP922 Review: I was silly enough to sign up for Dish Network based solely on the availability of this SlingLoaded DVR. As a long-time Slingbox user I imagined that it would be nice to have Slingbox features integrated with a DVR. What a big mistake! It turns out that the integrated Slingbox capability is cripled intentionally by Dish Network so it is not possible to use the desktop SlingPlayer client with the VIP 922 (the feature is disabled); Dish requires that you login through their web site and use the buggy and ...
